The Hico Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Bangs Dragons to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Hamilton for a 2A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, October 3. Hico will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-4.

The Dragons (1-14) will now prepare for their game against De Leon (De Leon, TX). The Bearcats go into the 2A Region I District 5 game with a 0-18 record. In their last game, De Leon went down by Coleman (Coleman, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
