Next up, the Lions confront the Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 2. Booker T. Washington will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Penguins go into the game with a 17-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA).

The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Lions come into the Division II District 9 outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Willow defeated Centerville (Centerville, LA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
