The Boone Toreadors edged the visiting Carlisle Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Toreadors confront the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Boone will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 6-16 record after their 3-1 league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA).

The Wildcats (5-17) will now prepare for their game against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, Winterset was edged by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
