In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Ferndale Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Burlington-Edison Tigers.

The Golden Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Nooksack Valley achieved victory over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, October 2. Burlington-Edison will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.
