In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Myrtle Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Byhalia Indians.
The Hawks (8-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Hatley (Amory, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-15 record. In their last challenge, Hatley was beaten by Belmont (Belmont, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Potts Camp Cardinals (Potts Camp, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 2. Byhalia will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Byers (Holly Springs, MS).
