The Cambridge Trojans volleyball squad (Cambridge, NE), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE)

With the victory, McCook upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Bison travel to Kearney (Kearney, NE) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Kearney won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE)

Next, the Trojans meet the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Cambridge will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wallace (Wallace, NE).
