In Tuesday's league match, the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Spartans confront the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) in a Division II District 4 match, on Thursday, October 2. Comeaux will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Westgate (New Iberia, LA).
The Bulldogs (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers enter the Division II District 4 bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Westgate was nudged by North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 3-0, in a league bout.
