In Tuesday's league match, the Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Front Range Christian Falcons (Littleton, CO), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) in a 2A/1A Mile High match, on Monday, October 6. Gilpin County will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record.

The Falcons (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO). The Bison come into the 2A/1A Mile High bout with a 13-1 record. In their last bout, Flatirons Academy defeated Union Colony Prep (Greeley, CO), 3-0, in a league bout.
