In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers.
The Lakers (9-3) will now prepare for their game against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats go into the Wright County game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, New London-Spicer was edged by Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN), 3-2, in a league game.
The Panthers (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals go into the non-league game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, Watertown-Mayer nudged Central (Norwood-Young America, MN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
