The Nolan Catholic Vikings volleyball squad (Fort Worth, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX)

The Mustangs (18-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers enter the 5A Region I District 6 challenge with a 21-11 record. In their last challenge, Colleyville Heritage got by Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Nolan Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Episcopal School of Dallas (Dallas, TX).
