In Tuesday's league game, the host Grassfield Grizzlies volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Western Branch Bruins.
Next up, the Grizzlies face the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern game, on Thursday, October 2. Grassfield will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 7-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).
The Bruins (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves go into the Southeastern game with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Indian River beat King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 3-0, in a league outing.
