Sidney Cowboys (Sidney, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Fremont-Mills achieved victory over Stanton (Stanton, IA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbine for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Griswold will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-12.
