In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Henry Ford Academy Navigators volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Old Redford Academy Ravens.

The Navigators (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Academy for Business & Tech (Melvindale, MI). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.

The Ravens now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Detroit Leadership Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Old Redford Academy will face a squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lincoln-King Academy (Detroit, MI). The record now stands at 0-5.
