Illinois High School Volleyball - Lexington edged by Heyworth

The Lexington Minutemen volleyball team (Lexington, IL), was tipped 2-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL)

The Hornets (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers enter the Heart of Illinois contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, LeRoy was tipped by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Minutemen meet the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a Heart of Illinois contest, on Thursday, October 2. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 5-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Ridgeview (Colfax, IL).
