In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Pelican Rapids Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets.
The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawley (Hawley, MN). The Nuggets come into the Heart O'Lakes challenge with a 18-1 record. In their last challenge, Hawley gained a win over East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Comets now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley for a Little Eight test on Thursday, October 2. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-1.
