Indiana High School Volleyball - Illiana Christian can't get by South Newton

September 30, 2025: Kentland, IN 47951

South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Illiana Christian Vikings (Dyer, IN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Frontier (Chalmers, IN). The Falcons come into the Midwest Athletic challenge with a 9-17 record.

Next, the Vikings meet the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Illiana Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 21-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-24 record after their 3-0 league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN).
