Illinois High School Volleyball - Lutheran Mt. Pulaski

Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hilltoppers (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartsburg-Emden (Hartsburg, IL). The Stags come into the Tomahawk challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Hartsburg-Emden beat Illini Central (Mason City, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL) in a MSM test, on Tuesday, October 7. Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Saints go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Triopia/Virginia (Concord, IL).
