Illinois High School Volleyball - Marshall over Richland County

The Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Paris for a Little Illini bout on Thursday, October 2. Marshall will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Richland County drops to 3-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL) to battle the Golden Aces in a Little Illini match on Thursday, October 2. The Golden Aces go into the battle with a record of 9-10. Mt. Carmel won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL)
