The McKinley Tech Trainers volleyball squad (Washington, DC), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC)

The Roughriders (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD). The Wolfpack enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Don Bosco Cristo Rey was tipped by Burke (Washington, DC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trainers battle the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA contest, on Saturday, October 4. McKinley Tech will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 11-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Eastern (Washington, DC).
