The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers volleyball squad (Melbourne, FL), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Merritt Island Christian Cougars (Merritt Island, FL)

With the win, Merritt Island Christian moves its record to 3-13 on the year. The Cougars host Calvary Chapel Academy (West Melbourne, FL) to meet the Eagles in a 1A District 8 contest on Thursday, October 2. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 11-6. Calvary Chapel Academy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against City of Life Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL)

Next, the Hustlers meet the John Carroll Catholic Rams (Fort Pierce, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 2. Melbourne Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lincoln Park Academy (Fort Pierce, FL).
