With the win, Sanford-Fritch improves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Highland Park (Amarillo, TX) to encounter the Hornets in a 2A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, October 3. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 2-7.

The Cyclones now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Electra for a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, October 7.
