South Dakota High School Volleyball - Spearfish can't get by St. Thomas More

The St. Thomas More Cavaliers edged the visiting Spearfish Spartans volleyball squad by a count of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league match.

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Mahpiya Luta Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 2. St. Thomas More will attempt to move on its 17-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Douglas (Box Elder, SD).

With the loss, Spearfish drops to 12-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Douglas (Box Elder, SD) to clash with the Patriots in a AA District 1 bout on Saturday, October 4. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 4-14. Douglas lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD)
