California High School Football - Highland thwarted by Kennedy

Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA), 41-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Kennedy improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Avenal (Avenal, CA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 11. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Scots now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsburg for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Highland will play a Vikings team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Dinuba (Dinuba, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
