Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Newark Reds (Newark, NY), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Penn Yan Academy advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to South Seneca (Ovid, NY) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Reds now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Geneva for a Finger Lakes - East test on Tuesday, September 17.
