The Mountain Heritage Cougars soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Erwin Warriors to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Enka for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. Mountain Heritage will play a Jets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Jets record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Erwin moves to 2-1 on the year. The Warriors host North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
