The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, East Burke was edged by Madison (Marshall, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 9. North Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).
