The Western Alamance Warriors edged the host Grimsley Whirlies volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Warriors face the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 9. Western Alamance will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
The Whirlies (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Ragsdale was edged by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-1, in a league game.
