In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marshall Barristers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Verdugo Hills Dons.

The Barristers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Taft beat Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dons play the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Verdugo Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA).
