Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC) and the host Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC), saw Wayne Preparatory Academy's soccer squad knock off Bear Grass Charter by a count of 5-2.

The Generals (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage Leadership Academy (Apex, NC). The Fletchers enter the battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Heritage Leadership Academy tipped Iron Academy (Raleigh, NC), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears battle the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 9. Bear Grass Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Washington Montessori (Washington, NC).
