In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Spanish Springs Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Douglas Tigers.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their match against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers come into the 5A Northern - High Desert match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, North Valleys by South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 3-0, in a non-league match.

The Tigers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hug for a non-league match on Saturday, September 7. Douglas will meet a Hawks team coming off a 1-1 non-league Wooster (Reno, NV). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
