In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Berea Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Burgin Bulldogs.

The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Lexington Christian beat Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Burgin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Danville (Danville, KY).
