North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Lincoln Burns

The Burns Bulldogs topped the host West Lincoln Rebels volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A game, on Thursday, September 5. Burns will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).

The Rebels (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils go into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Newton-Conover gained a win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
