In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Chincoteague Ponies volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Delmar Wildcats.

The Ponies (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Holly Grove Christian beat Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) in a Henlopen South challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Delmar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD).
