North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cornerstone Charter over Southern Guilford

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC), observed Cornerstone Charter's volleyball team top Southern Guilford by a tally of 3-0.

The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Glenn was beaten by R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Storm meet the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) in a Mid-State 3A contest, on Thursday, September 5. Southern Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
