In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Independence volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Freedom Eagles.
The (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Heritage beat Lightridge (Aldie, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Patriot Pioneers (Nokesville, VA) in a Cedar Run challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Osbourn (Manassas, VA).
