In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wilson Mules volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Jefferson Democrats.

The Mules (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA). The Suns come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Downtown Magnets was nudged by University Prep Value (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Democrats meet the Bernstein Dragons (Hollywood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mendez (Los Angeles, CA).
