The Sweet Springs Greyhounds topped the host Lexington Minutemen volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Greyhounds face the Northwest Mustangs (Hughesville, MO) in a Class 1 District 14 game, on Tuesday, September 10. Sweet Springs will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
The Minutemen (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Lone Jack (Lone Jack, MO). The Mules go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Lone Jack gained a win over Archie (Archie, MO), 3-1, in a non-league game.
