With the win, Marshall improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Barristers travel to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA) to encounter the Cowboys in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Cowboys go into the test with a record of 8-3. Canyon won 3-0 in their recent league test against Hart (Newhall, CA)

The Dons now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Fernando for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Verdugo Hills will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
