In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Taft Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans enter the 3A PacWest challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sheridan was beaten by Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Neah-Kah-Nie will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Riverside (Boardman, OR).
