The Taylor County Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Nelson County Cardinals to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Taylor County will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-2 league win over Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-6.
