The Amherst Central Tigers football squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Kenmore East Bulldogs to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to McKinley for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Amherst Central will face a Macks team coming off a 29-28 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, NY). The Macks record now stands at 0-1.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY). The Flames go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
