Maine High School Football - Sanford tops Biddeford

September 4, 2025: Biddeford, ME 04005

The Sanford Spartans football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Biddeford Tigers to 14 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bonny Eagle for a A South test on Friday, September 12. Sanford will face a Scots team coming off a 48-6 league win over South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Scots record now stands at 1-0.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Hawks enter the B South challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Marshwood lost by Westbrook (Westbrook, ME), 27-16, in a league challenge.
