The Ramsay Rams football squad (Birmingham, AL), was nudged 14-13 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL)

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL). The Rams enter the 5A Region 5 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Carver Birmingham got by John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 32-16, in a league contest.

Next up, the Rams encounter the Corner Yellow Jackets (Warrior, AL) in a 5A Region 5 bout, on Friday, September 12. Ramsay will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 28-13 league win over Wenonah (Birmingham, AL).
