    • Texas High School Football - Sachse sneaks past Lamar

    September 4, 2025: Arlington, TX 76012

    The Sachse Mustangs football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Lamar Vikings to 21 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Garland for a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Friday, September 12. Sachse will face a Owls team coming off a 29-0 non-league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Owls record now stands at 1-1.

    The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Jaguars go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Horn edged Berkner (Richardson, TX), 10-0, in a non-league test.
