The Xavier Prep Saints football team (Palm Desert, CA), was topped 28-14 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA)

The Diamondbacks (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Los Osos was outscored by Orange (Orange, CA), 15-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Saints confront the Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Xavier Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
