The Lincoln Fighting Zebras football team scored 21 points and held the visiting Chico Panthers to 14 in the Fighting Zebras non-league victory on Thursday.

In their next game, the Fighting Zebras face the Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Honkers come into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Yuba City edged Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 50-29, in a non-league outing.
