The St. Paul Swordsmen football team (Santa Fe Springs, CA), dropped 28-20 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA)
With the win, Damien advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
The Swordsmen now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. St. Paul will confront a Griffins squad coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Serra (Gardena, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 2-1.
