The Henderson County Colonels felled the visiting Gibson Southern Titans football team by a score of 28-8 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Colonels now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hopkinsville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Henderson County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 22-16 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Gibson Southern drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Washington (Washington, IN) to face the Hatchets in a challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Hatchets enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
