In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Vanden Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Benicia Panthers.
The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Pioneer (Woodland, CA). The Patriots go into the test with a 4-1 record.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Campolindo for a test on Tuesday, September 9.
