In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Johnson Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Cordova Lancers.

With the win, Johnson improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to West Campus (Sacramento, CA) to face the Warriors in a test on Monday, September 8. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 4-1. West Campus won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA)

The Lancers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17.
